On January 30, 2026, Elsevier officially released its 2025 Highly Cited Chinese Researchers list. Three first-level disciplines in the Business School of CSU were featured, with a total of seven faculty members selected.They are Ren Shenggang, Su Lujun, Wang Jianqiang in Management Science and Engineering, Li Dayuan in Business Administration,as well as Wen Fenghua, Chen Jinyu, Ren Xiaohang in Applied Economics.
A total of 6,310 scholars from 543 universities, enterprises, and research institutions were selected for the 2025 list.The literature coverage spans 1997 to 2025.The list uses the first-level discipline classification of the Ministry of Education, covering 13 disciplinary fields and 111 first-level disciplines, with 83 first-level disciplines included in the final ranking. A scholar’s disciplinary affiliation is determined based on their top five disciplines by publication volume, combined with their research focus.
The Highly Cited Chinese Researchers list is compiled based on Scopus, the world’s authoritative citation and indexing database, using the methodology developed by ShanghaiRanking Consultancy.It evaluates scholars from multiple dimensions, optimizes disciplinary classification, showcases the impact of scholars’ research, and helps build their academic reputation.
