On the subject of “Demanding or Deferring? Cross-Cultural Experimental Analysis of Communication and Coordination between Genders”, Prof. Daniel Houser had a talk with teachers and students on the spot. Assuming if there existed gender difference between both sides of a conversation, pre-communication will increase the success rate of cooperation between these two sides after communicating, Prof. Daniel designed a totally new series of experimental procedure. By Comparing test results of students from Washington and Shanghai, he concluded that people in China generally thought that males should obey their female partners. This general consensus is good to improve the cooperation after communicating. The result of this article is of great importance to those organizations that devotes themselves to Multi-Party Conference and improving economic efficiency. In the process of this report, the rigorous thinking, logical clearness, and humor of Prof. Daniel have deeply impressed everyone.

Then, Prof. Erte Xiao gave a lecture titled” Time Delay and Support for Taxation”. By designing experiment, she wanted to verify the hypothesis that delaying the benefits brought by taxation will reduce the support for taxation. Statistics shows that people always hardly support taxation when they find it is difficult for them to understand the work of new organization. Prof. Erte Xiao also discussed the issues of the policy application of research result to promote the support for tax policy.

In the Question & Answer part, students had heated discussions with these two professors in the aspects of the experiment mechanism design, data collection, and the improvement of Experimental Process.

This report shows the ability of experimental economics solving practical problems, and brings a banquet of experimental economics research field. Prof. Daniel and Prof. Erte Xiao have in-depth exchange with students in Business School in the aspect of experimental economics research field, offered wider range of ideas for writing academic paper, and laid foundation for the further cooperation.
