获省部级科技进步奖6项,主编和参加编写了《运筹学》、《数据库技术与应用》、《网络与电子商务》、《计算机网络原理与实用技术》等8本教材,主持了湖南省精品课程“数据库技术与管理”的建设工作,作为主要成员参加教育部2004年国家精品课程“计算机网络”的建设工作(排名第2),并已获国家精品课程,获湖南省教学成果一等奖1项(排名第二)。发表论文200多篇,有100多篇论文被SCI或EI收录。
