At 4:30 p.m, on November 24, the Donation Ceremony of Sail Group Educational Fund& the Award Ceremony of 2014 Sail Group Hard Scholarship (Grant) was held in international Hall of Science Building in CSU, with 130 students winning the prize. Jing GU, the Chairman of Sail Group, Lihui PAN, the Shareholder of Sail Group, Ming HUA, the Vice-manager of Hua Tuo Estate Co. Ltd, He PAN, the Director of Administration Office of Sail Group, WenBing GAO, the Party Secretary of CSU, Jianjun XU, the Deputy Secretary of CSU, Damin YOU, the Party Secretary of Business School, Huadong LI, the Deputy Secretary of Business School, etc, attended this ceremony, hosted by Jianxiang JIANG, the Assistant of President &the Director of School Office.

At the beginning of Award Ceremony, Zhenhua HU, the Director of Development and Liaison Office of CSU introduced the content of donation agreement.Then, Wenbing GAO, the Party Secretary, together with Mr. Jing GU signed “the Sail Group Educational Fund Donation Agreement of CSU”.

Lixiang WU, the Vice-director of Undergraduate School read “the Announcement of Results of 2014 Sail Group Hard Scholarship (Grant) of CSU”, and leaders and honored guests gave prize to 130 students successively.

Haiyang HU, the representative of students awarded to first-class scholarship, made a speech on the ceremony. He said that Sail Group Hard Scholarship (Grant) is not only an honor and reward for students, but also a kind of deep affection of a student to his Alma Mater. On behalf of all the award-winning students, Haiyang HU sincerely showed his gratitude to the “Youth Positive Energy” brought by Mr. Jing GU.

Subsequently, Mr. Lihui PAN gave his speech. With smiling, he said, this visit to CSU was worthwhile, and students here let him recall the past. He thought that modern college students should establish a correct outlook on life and values, and one’s quality was far more important than his ability. Finally, he quoted Yun MA as saying that we should have a dream, because every dream was likely to come true.

Then, Mr. Jing GU made his speech. He sincerely expressed his love to CSU, saying that Alma Master was deeply engraved in his heart. He hoped that students could repay Alma master and society in the future, as well as practice the company philosophy of “Immortality, Innovation, Value” in Sail Group. The positive energy spread by students is the greatest reward to the Sail Group.

At the end of the ceremony, Wenbing GAO, the Party Secretary told students, Mr Jing GU was the first one who generously helped Mei HUANG, a alumna of CSU, as soon as he know she burned herself. Wenbing GAO spoke highly of Mr. Jing GU’s noble character, and required all the students present to be sincere and kind in their life. Wenbing GAO, the Party Secretary, was expecting students to follow their dreams and went forward forever.

Leaders of Undergraduate School, Postgraduate School, Students Affairs Department, Graduate Affairs Department, Development and Liaison Office have attended the Award Ceremony and gave prize to award-winning students. After the ceremony, Youth League Committee and Student Union of our school presented their video named “to the Sail Group”, which was especially made by themselves, to Jing GU, the Chairman of Sail Group, and Mr. Lihui PAN.
